Human Resources Business Partner
for their Columbus, Ohio facility. This is an
immediate direct hire
opportunity offering the chance to play a key role in shaping HR initiatives and employee engagement at a growing, global organization in the automotive industry. The
HRBP
will oversee all site-level HR functions and provide strategic and hands-on support in recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and organizational development. This position also manages the site HR Specialist and partners with leadership to foster a positive, high-performing culture. Responsibilities
Lead all HR operations including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. Partner with site leaders to implement engagement, development, and retention strategies. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies. Support compensation, benefits, and leave administration while maintaining accuracy in HRIS systems (Paycom preferred). Provide guidance on employee investigations, corrective actions, and terminations. Track HR metrics, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to leadership. Collaborate with staffing partners to fulfill workforce needs and maintain strong vendor relationships. Qualifications
Minimum
5 years of HR generalist experience
required. Bilingual (English/Spanish)
required. Bachelor’s degree preferred;
SHRM-CP
a plus. Proven communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills. Solid knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices. Proficient in
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required)
and HRIS platforms.
