Job Description
ProSidian seeks an Environmental Compliance and Regulatory Consultant [DOE0025024] for program support on a contract contingent basis (Exempt W2: No Overtime Pay) located generally across CONUS with emphasis in Richland, Washington. The engagement supports DOE EM Hanford which is a federal, regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment requiring multidisciplinary contractor support, compliance oversight, and mission assurance. We seek Environmental Compliance and Regulatory Consultant candidates with relevant Environmental Management sector experience and functional/technical expertise to support professional services engagements for DOE and other Environmental Management Sector clients. This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) environment, with potential to convert to a full-time employed W-2 position. Overview Provide services and support as an Environmental Compliance and Regulatory Consultant (General Support Services for Hanford Field Office) in the Environmental Management industry, focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as the U.S. Department of Energy – Environmental Management/Hanford Field Office and DOE-EM/EMCBC in Cincinnati, OH. The work is generally located in CONUS – Richland, Washington and across the Pacific Northwest region. Environment, safety, health, and quality assurance services safeguard compliance, protect workers, and support Hanford mission success. Responsibilities and Duties Environmental Compliance and Regulatory Consultant for General Support Services (GSS) for Hanford Field Office (HFO) Support RCRA/CERCLA/NEPA compliance, monitoring, and regulatory reporting Work site initially identified as: 2440 Stevens Center Place, H520 Richland, WA 99354 (subject to change or remote work) Qualifications Desired Qualifications for Environmental Compliance and Regulatory Consultant (DOE0025024): 5–10+ years environmental compliance/remediation experience BS in Environmental Science/Engineering; HAZWOPER Experience aligned with Environmental Management Sector and Environment, Safety and Health; and Quality Assurance functional areas Skills in regulatory interpretation and data QA/QC Competencies Risk awareness, communication Ability to produce regulator-ready compliance packages Other Details Functional attributes include environmental regulatory consulting for Hanford Field Office (HFO) GSS Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing; travel in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations Security requirements: facility clearance; DOE clearance as indicated in task description when required Place of performance: Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, Richland, Washington Government-furnished resources: office space, computer workstations, and required software at HFO; scope conducted predominantly on-site with some remote support as approved Other Information Field work may require PPE.
