This position is a full-time Adult Team role. A car is required during working hours, with automobile insurance and the ability to legally drive. Candidates must pass background and driving record checks and a drug test. Virtual interviews are available.
Responsibilities
Completes Diagnostic assessments.
Participates in ongoing assessment and therapeutic engagement of clients.
Develops and implements person-centered individual treatment plans with clients and staff.
Provides direct service, including social and emotional support, using motivational interviewing, family systems treatment, trauma-informed care, and crisis interventions.
Coordinates with other professionals/agencies and engages in consumer advocacy; monitors service delivery and follows up as needed.
Provides direct crisis intervention services to clients, including face-to-face, telephone, and emergency contacts, during regular office hours.
Attends counseling and agency meetings to support an integrated, multidisciplinary team approach.
Maintains compliance with applicable practice standards and guidelines and ensures client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
Completes all documentation in a timely manner per agency guidelines.
Maintains agency-required productivity standards.
With documented consent, engages the client’s family and/or significant others to provide holistic care.
Requirements
Experience working with adults, families, and/or groups around behavioral, emotional, and cognitive issues.
Knowledge of mental illness, motivational interviewing, family systems treatment, trauma-informed care, crisis interventions, and familiarity with DSM-5/ICD-10 terminology.
Strong commitment to client rights.
Master’s level graduate with LISW or LPCC license preferred; will consider bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
