The F135 Sustainment Supply Module Materials Manager leads a team of people managers focused on Materials Planning and Customer Logistics, responsible for delivering products and services in support of the F-35’s (Joint Strike Fighter) F135 Propulsion System. The role is critical to the successful sustainment of the global fleet. What Will You Do
Ensure material availability driving fleet supportability at both domestic and international unit and depot locations. Coordinate with Delivery Assurance, Sustainment Operations, the Industrial Team, Logistics Team, CAIPT, and other functions to provide the plan for material supportability Analyze the near term and future gaps to plan; oversee the alignment of MRP to Demand Report to senior leadership on the health of material supportability, risks, and actions required and support the Digital Technology solutions for material supportability and workflow automation Provide feedback to the Forecasting and Depot Strategy teams to incorporate learning into material orders Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree 12 years of experience in an operational supply chain and/or logistics management capacity along with leadership experience; OR an Advanced degree and 10 years of operational supply chain and/or logistics management capacity along with leadership experience Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship Qualifications We Prefer
MBA or advanced degree This role requires someone with an operations mindset, who is adaptable to changing situations and responsive to the needs of the business This role requires someone with analytical skills to review the data and determine the actions that must follow This role requires a leader who is attentive to challenges his or her team may face and seeks ways to coordinate across business units to break down barriers This role requires someone who can speak up and raise their hand when they see an issue on the horizon to get the Program involved to find a solution This role requires someone who can manage the issues on the horizon while leading the team to look forward and plan ahead 5+ years of proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
