Family Partner-Nantucket role at Justice Resource Institute (JRI). Part-time and Fee for Service positions available, with the opportunity for full time. Responsibilities
Work alongside Clinicians, Young Adult Peer Mentors, and Therapeutic Support Specialists to support the delivery of strength-based peer-to-peer education, coaching, role modeling, guidance, and support services. Utilize caregiving experiences to enhance the lives of youth who are presenting with difficult and challenging behaviors, and their families. Help families navigate multiple systems of care and enable parents and caregivers to learn effective advocacy skills. Who We Are Looking For
Are you the Family Partner we’ve been searching for? In this role, you will have the opportunity to share your passion for helping others while working with our youth. JRI’s Community Service Agencies deliver wraparound services for youth under 21 diagnosed with a serious emotional disturbance, including those engaged with child welfare, special education, or juvenile justice. Requirements
Must be 21 years of age. Minimum of an Associate Degree in a human services field and one year of experience with the target population; alternatively, a high school diploma/GED with two years of experience in the same field. Candidates should have personal experience as a parent or caregiver of a youth facing emotional, behavioral, or learning challenges, and experience in navigating systems to secure support for their child’s needs. Background checks and driving checks will be performed. Benefits
