A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join its Miami office. About the Role
This role will support attorneys on complex litigation matters and will be actively involved in all stages of discovery and trial preparation. Responsibilities
Manage case information and documents using firm databases and applications, including MS Word, Excel, Relativity, Best Authority, LEXIS, Westlaw, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, and CaseNotebook. Coordinate large-scale document productions, including redaction, duplication, indexing, and maintaining master sets of documents and correspondence files. Review documents for responsiveness and privilege; assist with drafting and maintaining privilege logs. Create and maintain internal case databases; conduct searches across internal/external systems and compile relevant case information from multiple resources. Assist with deposition preparation, including organizing transcripts, exhibits, and supporting materials; coordinate logistics and order transcripts from reporting services. Support attorneys with motions, briefs, and memoranda by cite checking, proofreading, preparing Tables of Contents and Authorities, and assembling exhibits. Collaborate with attorneys and the Managing Attorney’s Office to prepare and file documents in state and federal courts. Liaise with firm departments, outside vendors, and court personnel. Provide hands-on trial support, including trial set-up, managing exhibits, coordinating logistics, tracking witness testimony, and assisting attorneys in the courtroom. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution with a strong academic record required. Required Skills
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines. Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. On-site position. Pay range and compensation package
Salary range: $100,000-$125,000 commensurate with experience.
