HRIS Analyst role at VSE Corporation. This role is based in Miramar, FL and may follow a hybrid work model (in-office and remote). Summary

The Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst administers databases, software, and computer systems used to manage human capital and payroll. Duties include analyzing HRIS systems, monitoring performance, configuration/testing of new functionality, extracting and building reports, and consolidating enterprise-wide employee data for compliance reporting. The HRIS Analyst oversees user access, responds to inquiries for support, and troubleshoots/resolves issues. This role partners with internal teams to align business goals with HR strategies and to ensure successful execution of HR projects. Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinate integration plans associated with mergers and acquisitions to ensure a smooth transition of employees and HR processes. Provide project management support for all HR related initiatives, including identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and issues. Communicate project status, progress, and updates to stakeholders and leadership. Identify and recommend areas to simplify, standardize, and improve HRIS setup and maintain accurate data. Maintain data integrity and enforce consistent data mapping across all HR systems. Provide support to HR production/test systems and required upgrades to system enhancements. Coordinate and conduct timely root cause analysis and drive to resolution for all HR systems, interfaces, and integrations. Provide consultative direction, knowledge, and functional assistance to HR leadership, business leaders, end users, and other team members for ongoing administration of HR systems. Collaborate in HR audits and maintenance of controls and documentation for compliance. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an additional three (3) years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive HRIS experience, including three (3) years of SAAS experience on platforms such as Workday, Paycom, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors. Proficient in supporting HCM platforms (HR, Compensation, Learning, Performance, Payroll, Reporting, and Recruiting). Thorough understanding of HR functional processes and data requirements. Understanding of basic project management principles and risk mitigation strategies. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands; proficient with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF statements, conditional formatting) and MS Office. Excellent attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking skills. Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service. Preferred Requirements

Experience managing HR related projects and tasks (acquisitions, divestitures, etc.). Experience leading HR, Payroll, or integration workstreams on strategic initiatives. PMP Certification. Ability to influence senior management, peers, and subordinates to desired outcomes. HCM, Payroll and Timekeeping systems analysis, design, implementation, and integration with internal/external systems. Experience with Employee/Manager Self Service applications, Compensation Planning, Performance Management, Applicant Tracking, and Learning Management Systems. HR system integration experience and ability to work with third-party vendors. Other
