This description is focused on the Payroll Tax Specialist role and related qualifications. What You Will Do
Ability to demonstrate some knowledge of federal/state/local rules and regulations. Provide administrative support with case inquiries and follow up. Resolve low complexity, high volume tasks related to workflow, as assigned. Communicate internally with colleagues and externally via client cases, email, chat, and/or telephone. Process various data related tasks with the Payroll Tax organization. Review tax data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Assist with tax accounts for set ups. Escalate identified customer concerns or tax changes to leadership. For Payroll Tax Compliance Specialist: navigate web-based state government portals, review tax data for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, assist with tax accounts for set-up and filing tax forms through online service, audit and maintain tax forms, assist with system testing and validation, and process low complexity tax and payroll adjustments. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. Qualifications

General education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training preferred. Experience Qualifications
Typically 1+ years of experience in federal and state payroll tax processes and compliance. Skills And Abilities
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, quality work product. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Organizational and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Some understanding of US payroll tax including federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality. High commitment to professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace. Travel Requirements
None Location and Compensation
The preferred location for this role is Atlanta, GA, and the salary range for this location is $22.55 to $33.85. All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role, based in Atlanta. All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and consider relocation to Atlanta and may be considered for remote hire at the company’s discretion. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.
