Primary Duties and Responsibilities Senior leader responsible for the development of strategic plans, investment priorities and the implementation of executable programs. Directs, defines, facilitates and monitors large/complex business programs consisting of multiple projects with assigned department/project teams to ensure success in achievement of individual project goals and programs as a whole to ensure consistency with defined standards. Ensures all assigned programs and constituent projects are defined, tracked, communicated and implemented in a consistent and effective manner. Incorporates effective change and risk management controls. Partners with Business and IT leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria including return on investment, productivity, criticality and compliance. Develops business models, cost/benefit analyses, recommends strategies and prepares necessary materials to keep senior management informed regarding achievement of project milestones and goals. Provides business solutions and migration strategies to management and ensures business resources are adequate for project support. Direct, plan, design, development, implementation and/or support of business plans and processes. Serves as a subject matter expert and consultant to mentor/coach team leaders in the use of project/business management concepts, tools and techniques. Develops and implements quality assurance and control policies and procedures to ensure meeting quality and service goals and department/corporate objectives. Monitors and ensures the operational integrity of each release throughout the implementation cycle. Supports contract negotiations with outside vendors and vendor relationship management. Supervisory Responsibilities
Participates in the department process related to the selection, hiring, training and development, coaching and review of assigned staff. Provides direction to large project team personnel, contract personnel and/or consultants as needed. II. Required Qualifications
Education
(minimum education and certifications): A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance or related field or an equivalent combination of education, certifications and work experience. Experience : 10+ years leading application development teams Demonstrated track record of strong analytical and time management skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret data gathered from project teams to determine how information impacts business strategy and timelines Demonstrated ability to effectively lead multiple cross functional matrix teams with dotted line relationships Developed best practices for project management methodologies for a variety of technology-related initiatives Knowledge and Skills : Staffing of professional and administrative staff Leadership and decision making Personnel policy interpretation/administration Budget and expense control Develop, oversee and guide initiatives to completion Provide clear directives and effectively communicate goals and objectives to team Build consensus between functional areas and team leads/members Develop complex cost benefit analysis in concert with lines of business Develop capital budgets Facilitate project priorities and implementation of schedules Analyze and manipulate data using spreadsheet software (i.e. Excel, Access) Excellent presentation, persuasion and interpersonal skills including report/proposal preparation III. Preferred Qualifications
Strong Property & Casualty industry knowledge and functional expertise in Property & Casualty sub-specialty (e.g. strategic planning, product, pricing, claims, etc.) preferred 5+ years of leading insurance claims application and development teams 10+ years in IT claims experience in the Property & Casualty industry Benefits and Compensation
Salary: $175,000 to $190,000 annually with annual bonus potential based on performance. Benefits include: 401k Match, Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Paid Holidays, Tuition Reimbursement Work Environment

in work environment: This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership.
