HR Business Partner (Midwest & Northwest Territory) , you serve as a strategic partner to assigned business units, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. You provide counsel to leadership on best practices to maximize employee development, engagement and retention, champion a diverse and inclusive workforce, and promote continuous improvement through performance management. You will provide trusted advisory and HR support to senior leaders, line managers and employees. Ideally you reside in the Houston area and are willing to travel to other offices. You report directly to the Director of Human Resources. To be a successful candidate you should have strong business knowledge, a comprehensive understanding of HR, and the ability to deliver all aspects of Human Resources, including employee relations, performance and talent management, with support from the global and regional HR teams. You will assess HR needs proactively and communicate solutions across stakeholders. Key responsibilities

Serve as trusted advisor to senior executives and managers Develop HR strategies and practices with leadership to improve employee development, performance, engagement, and retention Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures and programs to managers and employees with support from HR Generalist and Coordinator teams Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR to develop solutions, programs and policies Support organizational change by developing communication plans, facilitating discussions and coaching managers and employees through transitions Advocate for employee engagement and well-being SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, where applicable Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines: compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and employment laws Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Labor Relations or related; SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR certification and/or Master’s degree a plus Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Willingness to travel as required Strong analytical, problem-solving and relationship management skills Excellent organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) Hybrid working from the Houston office is required Additional information
