Job Description As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling new business while managing and growing your client portfolio through the value of CoStar products. This is a consultative role that empowers you to build relationships, engage new clients, and oversee the entire sales process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Sell New Business: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by promoting the value of our product to the commercial real estate industry and beyond.
Account Management: Effectively manage and expand your portfolio of clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and growth with tailored solutions.
Develop expertise in CoStar’s products and the commercial real estate market.
Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, product demonstrations, closing, onboarding, training, and renewal processes.
Build relationships through in-person meetings and product demos with brokers, owners, corporations, investors, and other CRE professionals.
Represent CoStar at industry events and cultivate long-term relationships and a professional network.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
3+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Demonstrated commitment to prior employers.
Experience in client management and post-sale support.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record check.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of outside sales experience in data, research, or analytic platforms, preferably in commercial real estate or related fields.
Strong consultative selling skills and ability to build rapport and trust.
Interest in commercial real estate and developing expertise in CoStar’s products.
Experience managing client portfolios and driving revenue growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Results-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction and market knowledge.
