Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive growth in AFH with deep knowledge in convenience, foodservice, GPOs, K-12, and special markets for MadeGood. Work closely with brokers, distributors, and retail partners to ensure alignment with Riverside Natural Foods’ national sales objectives. Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand MadeGood’s presence across the eastern U.S. Broker & Distributor Management Lead and collaborate with broker and distributor teams to ensure they have the tools and support needed to drive sales growth for MadeGood. Train and empower brokers and distributors on MadeGood’s product offerings, positioning, and key selling points. Review sales performance and adjust strategies to ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded. Food Service, GPO & Special Markets Cultivate strong partnerships with key players in the foodservice industry, including schools, hospitals, offices, and large restaurant chains, to drive sales of MadeGood products. Manage relationships with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), maximizing product placement, and strengthening brand presence. Identify and develop targeted strategies for special markets, including healthcare, education, and hospitality, to expand MadeGood’s footprint. Account Management Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with retail partners, focusing on both regional and national accounts. Negotiate and manage product pricing, promotions, and distribution agreements to achieve mutual success. Market Analysis & Reporting Track and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to uncover new opportunities for growth. Regularly report on sales performance, market conditions, and progress toward sales targets to manager and broader team. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to adapt to market demands and improve sales performance. Collaboration & Team Leadership Work cross-functionally with Riverside Natural Foods’ marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and product initiatives. Represent MadeGood at industry events, trade shows, and sales meetings to increase brand awareness and foster partnerships. Willingness to travel ~50%. Qualifications
3+ years of sales experience in foodservice, GPOs, or special markets, preferably within the CPG or food industry. Proven track record of managing broker and distributor relationships, as well as building and maintaining key convenience, specialty, and foodservice accounts. Deep knowledge of the foodservice industry, including trends, key players, and operational dynamics. Ability to travel extensively within the Eastern U.S. (up to 50% travel). Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Key Competencies
