Summary
Seeking a dynamic Senior Outside Sales Executive to drive territory sales growth by developing and nurturing key customer relationships. This role is focused on promoting and servicing our clients’ high-quality plumbing products through distributor channels, as well as direct engagement with contractors, builders, and other industry professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing strategic product and program initiatives while collaborating closely with both internal teams and external partners. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, result-oriented sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
This is an Outside Sales position with both local and/or overnight travel required 3-4 days a week.
Location
A person in this role needs to be based within 60 minutes of Springfield, MA.
Relocation assistance will be offered to qualified candidates currently outside the desired location.

Compensation

Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and conduct field sales activities within an assigned territory to meet or exceed established sales goals.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, plumbers, builders, architects, and engineers.
Train and support distributor sales personnel to ensure effective promotion of the client’s product line.
Analyze market conditions and account performance to identify sales opportunities and recommend strategic changes.
Prepare annual sales forecasts and detailed distributor account plans covering marketing, showroom, training, and promotional activities.
Represent the company at industry trade shows, conventions, and sales meetings to deepen product knowledge and strengthen customer relationships.
Perform on-site inspections and address product performance or service concerns.
Manage all pricing programs and maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, expenses, and reports.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales Executives, Branch Managers, Business Development Managers, and customer service teams.
Oversee all channel activities within the assigned geography, ensuring alignment with market segment strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with relevant sales experience; preferred fields include Sales, Business Administration, or Marketing.
4-12 years of sales experience required, with a minimum of 2 years of outside sales.
Strong communication skills—written and verbal—across all organizational levels and external contacts.
Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic account plans.
Creative problem-solver with excellent planning, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Must be comfortable traveling 10–30% of the time for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.
