Group Product Manager, with a focus on people leadership, stakeholder alignment and strategic vision within global environments. Lead product teams delivering modern, innovative solutions for global vehicle inventory shopping experiences and online/offline checkout journeys in collaboration with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and retail operations. What You’ll Do

Decision Leadership & Executive Communication:

Create clarity and momentum by identifying decision points, framing choices, and driving alignment across teams and stakeholders. Operate with autonomy, distill problems into crisp narratives, and use data and storytelling to influence senior leaders and guide strategic decision-making. Model leadership that fosters trust, trade-offs, and progress. Leadership & Team Management:

Coach and grow a team of Product Managers, promoting a high-performance culture rooted in trust, transparency, and continuous learning. Empower ownership, delegate with intent, and provide space and support for growth. Foster psychological safety and a feedback-rich environment. Domain/Market Understanding:

Demonstrate deep expertise in vehicle shopping experiences, inventory discovery, availability, and presentation across digital and physical channels. Understand the role of DMS in enabling end-to-end shopping and checkout. Monitor market dynamics and customer expectations to inform strategy. Vision & Strategy:

Craft and communicate a long-term product vision aligned with GM’s goals. Own the strategic direction and roadmap for multiple products, ensuring scalability and customer/value alignment. Influence broader company direction through thoughtful leadership. Prioritization, Trade-offs, & Sequencing:

Oversee prioritization and sequencing across product areas, balance competing priorities, and guide resource allocation to maximize business impact. Customer-Centricity & Quality:

Champion customer-obsessed product development, set high-quality standards, and embed quality across the lifecycle. Launch Success/Go-to-Market & Measurement:

Lead go-to-market efforts, define launch strategies, and track product performance with data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, Engineering, Business, or equivalent 7+ years of product management experience on software or digital platforms with complex, configurable products 3+ years of direct management experience or experience mentoring a team Experience managing or mentoring a team of product managers Experience modernizing digital products and enhancing user experiences Strong technical acumen with understanding of software development processes Strategic, data-driven thinker with strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher 3+ years of experience managing a team of product managers Experience with Vehicle Shopping Experiences, eCommerce/Digital Retail products (Shopping, Checkout, Inventory) Technical acumen in building retail experiences; knowledge of 3D imagery or immersive digital products is a plus Global product management experience Compensation & Benefits

Compensation:

The salary range is $168,000 - $258,800. Actual base salary will vary based on factors including location and experience. Bonus potential and incentive programs may apply. Benefits:
