The Hershey Company is seeking a Territory Sales Lead (Atlanta District). This role focuses on flawless execution of store-level sales and promotional plans with customer retailers in the assigned territory, which includes high-volume food chain grocers and mass merchandisers. The Territory Sales Lead drives incremental sales through retail execution, promotional and merchandising strategies, and ensures 100% distribution on authorized Hershey items across all classes of trade. Consultative Business Partnering Customer Relationship Development and Management: Build and maintain consultative relationships with customer Key Decision Makers (KDMs) at all levels. Partner with KDMs to develop and execute action plans to increase sales. Cultivate a network of influential contacts to achieve sales objectives. Influence and negotiate customer support for Hershey merchandising. Data Analysis: Obtain and analyze store, product, and market data; leverage trends and analytics. Complete pre-call planning methods and other company tools. Review and modify routes to maximize sales call efficiency. Solve problems using consumer trends and customer insights to guide decisions. Sales: Engage in forward selling via consultative techniques. Conduct store walk-throughs and secure commitments from KDMs for successful outcomes. Tailor strategies to influence KDMs to order additional products and optimize merchandising locations. Merchandising: Achieve merchandising objectives by executing customer-specific promotional plans on the sales floor; build and maintain product displays and displays at stores. Administrative: Complete and submit daily/weekly activity reports, expense reports, competitive activity, account changes, promotions, and other administrative functions using company-approved methods. Qualifications

Education and Experience: 2-year Associate/Community College degree required OR 3 years of previous sales experience. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities: Must have a valid US state-issued driver’s license Must reside or be willing to commute within territory boundaries Must be able to drive to make multiple sales calls daily Must be able to lift 10-60 lbs regularly with or without reasonable accommodations Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop and demonstrate manual dexterity Occasionally climb ladders Occasionally use equipment such as crushing balers, handheld electric trucks Must be able to use tablet and other wireless technology; some roles require intermediate Microsoft Office skills Must have daily access to wireless internet Must have flexibility to changes in territory coverage Occasional weekend work may be required during peak seasons; select territories may require occasional overnight stays Compensation and Benefits

Employees can expect to be paid a starting base salary of $50,000. Additional compensation may include overtime and incentives. Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, vacation, and sick leave.
