Our newly renovated hotel features 256 guestrooms including 50 spacious studio suites, and more than 31,000 square feet of revitalized meeting and banquet space for premier meeting experiences in the Tri-State area.
Responsibilities
Sell guest rooms, meeting space, and other Hyatt services to customer groups.
Manage accounts, conduct site inspections, solicit and generate business.
Prepare and present effective proposals; maintain organized documentation and reports.
Utilize Hyatt systems and coordinate customer service requirements as appropriate.
Participate in, and may lead, event meetings, sales meetings, and other staff meetings.
Collaborate with the sales and catering staff, Administrative Assistant, and other support staff as a team member.
Qualifications
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
A minimum of 1–3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred.
Proficiency in general computer knowledge.
Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training.
Prefer selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills training.
