About the School of Aerospace Engineering: The Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering has consistently ranked among the nation's top aerospace engineering programs, with a faculty of more than 40 tenured-track professors and a student body of over 2,000. The school offers research, scholarship, and education across fixed-wing aircraft, rotorcraft, and space domains.

Responsibilities

The School of Aerospace Engineering invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks in any technical areas relevant to aerospace systems, interpreted broadly, including artificial intelligence and dynamical systems.

Typically reporting to the School Chair, the Professor is a tenured/tenure-track faculty member who conducts teaching, research, and service. Professors may hold administrative appointments as long as the majority of time is dedicated to teaching, research, and service. The position is located at the Atlanta Campus, Atlanta, Georgia.

Applicants should strive to create an inspiring learning environment for both undergraduate and graduate students and conduct innovative research with potential impact on the field.

Associate and Full Professor applicants should have established records of nationally and internationally recognized research; candidates are expected to teach and mentor a diverse student body and balance undergraduate and graduate teaching with research and service responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

An earned Ph.D. or Sc.D. in Aerospace Engineering or closely related field is required by the start of the appointment.
