Lead Systems Engineer

Our client, a leader in aerospace engineering supporting military turbojet engines, is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Lead Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Project Engineering department supporting the Military Fixed Wing Team (MFW). The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a results-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Lead Systems EngineerLocation: Phoenix, AZPay Range: Pay rate is $63.94/hr What’s the Job? Lead design and development activities of military engine systems through all phases of the Honeywell IPDS process Manage requirements validation, verification, and resolution of technical challenges Oversee hardware acquisition, fabrication costs, and qualification tasks Coordinate with cross-functional international teams to ensure project success Serve as a project leader for multiple programs or work streams, ensuring on-time delivery within budget What’s Needed? Minimum 10 years of engineering experience in gas turbine engine design, development, or testing Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field Strong leadership and project management skills, including experience with MS Project and Agile/Jira Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status due to US export control laws What’s in it for me?
