Responsibilities include designing, directing, and monitoring aviation projects in Alaska, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and managing airport planning and design tasks. The candidate will also develop client relationships and pursue new projects. Primary Responsibilities Technical Leadership:
Serve as the technical expert, guide design and implementation, ensure compliance with FAA standards, and develop quality procedures. Design and Planning:
Design civil aspects of aviation projects, including site layouts, drainage, paving, utilities. Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Project Coordination:
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensure project completion on time and budget, and foster client relationships. Mentorship and Development:
Mentor junior engineers and participate in industry organizations. Qualifications Bachelor's in Engineering PE license Experience with airfield planning and design Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, AVI-Plan, Infraworks Understanding of airfield design Strong communication skills Additional Information This position is based in Anchorage, Alaska, with opportunities to work across the region.
