Overview
Akkodis is seeking a
Playwright Automation Engineer
for a
Contract
with a client in Dallas, TX/Richardson, TX. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Playwright and CI/CD tools to ensure reliable, cross-platform testing and seamless integration into development pipelines.
Rate Range:
$45/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
Create scalable and reusable automation frameworks for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility through robust automation coverage.
Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects, performing root cause analysis and debugging.
Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to define and implement test automation strategies.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions and maintain documentation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 4–6 years in test automation, with solid experience using Playwright.
Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python, and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Proven ability to design scalable automation frameworks and perform cross-browser testing for web applications.

Pay Details & Benefits Pay Details:
$45.00 to $56.00 per hour
