Playwright Automation Engineer
Akkodis is seeking a Playwright Automation Engineer for a contract with a client in Richardson, TX / Dallas, TX. Candidates must have hands‑on experience with Playwright and strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
Rate Range $37/hour to $49/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
Build scalable and reusable automation frameworks for functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
Execute and analyze automated tests, identify defects, and perform root cause analysis.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define test strategies and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Maintain and optimize existing test suites for speed, reliability, and coverage, while contributing to documentation and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in test automation, with at least 2 years using Playwright.
Proven expertise in developing and maintaining Playwright‑based automation frameworks using TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

Pay Details $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
