Job Title: Experienced Construction Project Engineer – Mechanical Company Name: UPM Mechanical Classification: Exempt (Salary) Reports To: Project Manager Location: 100% In-Person – Office or Jobsite Type of Role: Full-Time Responsibilities
Manage procurement from start to finish, including submittals, procurement tracking, purchase orders, and closeout documentation Maintain document control, including updated drawing sets, specifications, meeting agendas, and file systems Research, submit, track, and return RFIs Assist the Project Manager with project startup and closeout processes Coordinate with suppliers and vendors on material orders and equipment deliveries Qualifications
Required Education and Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a similar role General understanding of mechanical systems (plumbing, hydronics, sheet metal) Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Sage, Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook) Bachelor’s degree Preferred Education and Experience: 3–5 years of experience in mechanical construction project engineering Advanced proficiency with project management tools and software Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Authorized to work in the United States Clean background check U.S. citizenship Valid driver’s license Job Details
