Responsibilities

Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on a variety of difficult process engineering experiments, within safety guidelines Perform hardware characterization on a variety of difficult systems, within safety guidelines Troubleshoot a variety of complex problems, perform Root Cause Analysis and resolve a variety of difficult process engineering issues Generate internal and external documentation for products, presentations and technical reports Interact with customers to resolve a variety of difficult process engineering issues/problems with limited supervision Measure film properties and interpret data Identify, select and work with vendors and suppliers with limited supervision Implement new technology, products and analytical instrumentation Training others on advanced use of instrumentation Qualifications

Expertise in operation of Dual Beam FIB instruments Expertise in TEM sample preparation using DB FIB Experience in creation and modification of automation recipes (AutoTEM/iFast) 4+ years experience on FIB/SEM tool Advanced understanding of semiconductor devices such as FinFET, GAA, 3D NAND, DRAM, and MRAM Strong problem-solving skills Outstanding oral and verbal communication skills Ability to work well within cross-functional groups, including peers, internal partners, and customers at all levels Effectively manage projects/tasks/assignments, showing initiative and meeting expected timeframes Flexible work hour/day Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and present data to a broad audience Ability to communicate complicated concepts to people from all backgrounds and educational levels Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or similar field Functional Knowledge

Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines Business Expertise

Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market Leadership

Experience with TEM operation Experience developing new techniques on novel materials Familiarity with failure analysis techniques Experience with Atom Probe Tomography Experience with Plasma FIB systems Familiarity with Electron Microscopic analytical techniques such as XEDS, EELS, etc. Familiarity with other analytical techniques, such as AFM, FTIR, XRD, etc. Qualifications
