Summary The Electrical Project Engineer will function as part of a multi-discipline internal engineering team reporting to the Sr. Manager of Detailed Engineering & Design. The Electrical Project Engineer should have a thorough understanding of electrical and instrumentation design requirements and evaluation of pump and compressor stations, other pipeline facilities as well as familiarity with other disciplines (pipeline, mechanical, civil, etc.) needed for those projects associated with liquids and gas gathering. Strong technical competencies and excellent communication skills should work together to provide quality customer service, leadership within the Electrical Engineering area of expertise, and a positive and teamwork-oriented attitude that leads to the successful completion of commercially driven capital projects. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Provide engineering support for capital projects during the scope development, design, construction, and commissioning phases of projects. Serve as discipline SME to the project team ensuring projects are executed in accordance with Company standards, industry specifications, and Federal regulations. Act as part of the internal engineering team to execute engineering project deliverables for Project Managers consistent with Energy Transfer standards, specifications, and expectations. Work directly with Project Managers, discipline Engineers, Designers, Operations, and other internal staff to successfully execute projects on time, within budget, and with high quality. Develop deliverables in conjunction with design team such as schematics, load lists, one-lines, control schemes, etc. When utilizing third-party engineering firms, ensure they have appropriate and up-to-date standards and specifications and they execute engineering deliverables to the level of Energy Transfer expectations. Perform detailed design and support installation of electrical and automation systems, motors, protective devices, instrumentation, and other electrical equipment as part of pipeline and facility operations. Review or update project specifications and designs related to electrical equipment, facility power, power studies, utility feeds/distribution/connections/contracts/contract strategies, as related to projects or company goals. Perform technical review of vendor material quotations, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications and procedures. Maintain a working knowledge of applicable Company Engineering Standards and other industry standards and specifications. Good analytical skills are required to diagnose problems and needs of the customers to make appropriate changes and recommendations. Develop multiple alternatives to individual problems or situations with consideration to project cost and schedule impacts. Prepare and support reviews of technical standards, specifications, and procedures for individual and company-wide projects. Lead commissioning of power systems as well as panels, instrumentation, and SCADA systems. Build, maintain, and apply SKM electrical system models/arc flash analysis. Review power studies, evaluate load flow values, short circuit levels, arc-flash levels, electrification impact studies, and protective device coordination. Track time and productivity for both project and process improvement work activities. Minimum Requirements BS in electrical, electronic, instrument control, or related engineering discipline, P.E. license a plus 5+ yrs. applicable industry experience Title conferred will be based on candidates’ years of relevant experience. Direct experience working for a third-party engineering firm is highly preferred. Knowledge of industry safety practices and relevant codes in the Electric and Power disciplines (NEC, NFPA 70E, Low Voltage

Knowledge in design of power system facilities and equipment and construction, operation, and maintenance of electric power generating, receiving, and distribution stations, transmission lines, and distribution systems and equipment. Strong verbal and written communications skills; good organizational skills. Experience developing piping, instrument, and electrical diagrams. Proficient with applicable technical software (Navisworks, BlueBeam, etc.), Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, etc). Support for multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision. Required Experience Is Commensurate With The Selected Job Level Engineer: Bachelor’s degree + 3-6 years relevant experience Senior Engineer: Bachelor’s degree + 6-10 years relevant experience Staff Engineer: Bachelor’s degree + 10+ years relevant experience Principal Engineer: Bachelor’s degree + 12+ years relevant experience, PE license preferred Working Conditions Normal office environment.
