A key part of this role is ensuring safety through the implementation of arc flash mitigation, fault detection systems, and rigorous compliance with regulatory and environmental standards. You'll also manage complex projects from concept to completion, aligning engineering solutions with business goals and timelines. This is a high-impact role where your leadership and problem‑solving skills will directly contribute to operational reliability, safety, and strategic growth.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks supporting critical infrastructure such as pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities
Champion the integration of advanced technologies including automation, real‑time monitoring, and energy storage to enhance system performance and reduce operational costs
Implement robust safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems to protect personnel and ensure infrastructure reliability
Provide technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for both new construction and upgrades to existing facilities
Manage complex engineering projects from concept to completion ensuring alignment with business goals timelines and budget constraints
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and regulatory standards across electrical systems and project execution
Education / Years of Experience
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar (must be ABET accredited)
Four (4) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry
Preferred: PE License
Requirements
Proficiency in reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvements
Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.)
Proficiency in designing, and implementing, Instrumentation systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems
Experience working in Preliminary-Front End Engineering and Design (Pre-FEED), Front End Engineering Design (FEED), or Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) of small to medium facility projects
Project leadership experience preferred
