CenterPoint Energy is seeking a HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Key Responsibilities
Provide quality services/products focusing on customer satisfaction and safety. Service, inspect, and install residential gas and electric appliances to ensure safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Respond to utility calls, locate gas leaks, and take safety measures. Promote and sell Home Service Plus products and services, maintaining professional relationships. Respond to emergencies to ensure safe delivery of natural gas. Operate and maintain company vehicle and tools safely, manage inventory, and suggest process improvements. Update skills based on technological changes to ensure service excellence. Education & Experience
Requires completion of a 1- or 2-year diploma or associate degree in heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning, or equivalent experience. Entry-level candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience in heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning are also eligible. Must have been a Tech B for 6 months and completed at least two years in the Tech A classification. Additional Information
