Estimator
on behalf of a well-established and rapidly growing
structural concrete / shell contractor
based in the
South Florida
region. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a dynamic and professional team working on residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. As an Estimator, you will play a key role in
pricing and bidding
structural and shell construction projects, collaborating closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and competitive proposals. Key Responsibilities Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed cost estimates. Perform material quantity takeoffs for concrete, masonry, formwork, and rebar. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations. Prepare and present complete bid packages for review. Track market pricing and industry trends to inform estimating strategies. Work collaboratively with project managers and the leadership team throughout the bid and preconstruction process. What We’re Looking For 3+ years of experience in estimating within the
structural concrete, shell, or general contracting
sectors. Proficient in construction estimating software and digital takeoff tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar). Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
