We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Mechanical Engineer

to lead the design, development, and improvement of mechanical systems and products. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a deep understanding of engineering best practices. This role requires collaboration across cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, and quality engineering. Job Summary:

Guided Search Partners provided pay range: $105,000.00/yr - $122,500.00/yr Key Responsibilities:

Lead the mechanical design and development of new products from concept to production. Perform detailed engineering analysis including FEA, thermal, tolerance stack-ups, and material selection. Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation. Oversee prototype fabrication and lead product testing/validation. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design or manufacturing issues. Support manufacturing, quality, and sourcing teams to ensure product feasibility and cost-effectiveness. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Identify and implement opportunities for design and process improvements. Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 8+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design and engineering. Proficient in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA). Strong analytical skills with experience in simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus). Solid understanding of materials, manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, casting), and GD&T. Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems. Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Engineer (PE) license. Experience in [industry-specific experience – e.g., aerospace, medical devices, automotive]. Knowledge of DFM/DFA principles and Six Sigma methodologies. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
