The Solar Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer, Electrical will collaborate with the Engineering Services team to ensure digital files and drawings are aligned across disciplines. The role involves cross-functional problem solving and reviewing drawings from multiple engineers and other digital design files. Key Duties

Familiarity with utility-scale solar project designs, including single line drawings, electrical site plans, wiring diagrams, and equipment layout. Understanding construction applications of solar power plant design, including PV string sizing, conductor sizing, and racking/tracker design. Experience with solar and battery storage equipment such as solar panels, inverters, transformers, racking systems, and batteries. Ability to review scope of work documents and analyze design implications. Ownership of project lifecycle segments from design to construction support. Mentorship and support to junior engineering team members (for Senior Project Engineer level). Willingness to travel for site visits and technical support. Support field teams with technical requests. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; electrical engineering preferred. 0-1+ years’ experience for Project Engineer; 2+ years’ for Senior Project Engineer, with solar industry experience. Knowledge of electrical design, materials, and power system construction methods. Ability to manage design documentation across systems. Experience with thermal analysis tools like SAM or Cymcap is a plus. Knowledge of NEC and NESC standards related to power plants is a plus. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Highly organized with multitasking ability. Job Details
