Overview Building Structural Engineer - Entry Level

Join to apply for the Building Structural Engineer - Entry Level role at Whitman, Requardt and Associates, LLP (WRA). We are seeking Entry Level Structural Engineers to join our Structural/Marine Group in our Baltimore, MD office.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building types and materials.

Conduct field investigations, develop concept designs, and create construction documents for clients across a broad range of markets, including Federal/Local Government, Industrial, and Manufacturing.

Qualifications

0-4 years of structural design experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Concentration from an ABET accredited program.

Internship experience in a related field preferred.

Experience with structural design and analysis software (RISA, STAAD, etc.).

Experience with drafting and modeling software (Revit and AutoCAD).

Knowledge of building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, ACI, etc.).

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Qualifications

Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Concentration preferred.

Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) preferred.

The expected annual compensation range for this position is $72,000.00 - $97,000.00. This range is a good faith estimate. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors including knowledge, training, skills, location, and experience.
