Electrical/Senior Electrical Engineer
to join a large, growing Tech, Media and Telecom (TMT) practice. This person will contribute to electrical design for Data Center and other mission-critical projects and may mentor junior electrical engineers. Opportunities are available in multiple U.S. locations and in the U.K. (London, Manchester, Glasgow). Responsibilities
Mentoring and managing team members to promote collaboration, career growth, high-quality construction documents, client satisfaction, and safety. Coordinate work of Electrical Engineers, EITs, and BIM Specialists within a multidisciplinary project team. Mentor junior staff, organize growth, and manage workloads to complete documents on schedule. Lead electrical design for data center/mission-critical projects and coordinate with clients, project managers, architects, other engineers, contractors, and marketing members. Develop feasibility reports, construction documents, specifications, engineering calculations, RFIs, shop drawings, site investigations, and overall construction administration. Attend design meetings and lead electrical discussions; conduct schematic, design development, and contract document sessions with Project Manager and other disciplines. Ensure code compliance through reviews with governing agencies; provide design support during construction (field observations, submittal/review, and RFI support). Travel to job sites or HDR offices may be required with advance notice. Preferred Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP. Prior experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm is preferred. Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis. Prior data center/mission-critical experience in similar settings. Local candidates are preferred where applicable. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis. Experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting, power, systems). Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license. Strong computer skills including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI, and Easy Power.
