Description
We are seeking a seasoned professional for a senior-level role leading complex, large-scale construction projects across North America. This position emphasizes strategic planning, team leadership, and program-level direction.
The successful candidate will oversee a diverse range of projects including new builds, retrofits, expansions, and program initiatives from site selection through contract execution. Responsibilities encompass all aspects of project delivery, requiring expertise in construction management, demonstrated leadership capabilities, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at senior levels.
As the project manager, you will lead all pre-construction and construction phases, expertly managing planning, design, budgets, and schedules while orchestrating stakeholder collaboration and driving successful project delivery from inception through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Drive strategy and execution for multiple complex initiatives, develop and implement standardization of processes, guide program-level decisions affecting multiple sites/projects, and mentor junior PMs and project teams. Project Leadership: Lead portfolio of complex, high-value projects ($100M+), drive scope development with senior stakeholders, launch new initiatives and lead improvement programs, direct multiple teams across various locations, and establish and maintain program-level standards. Technical Direction: Guide system and process improvements, lead development of technical specifications, drive continuous improvement initiatives, establish quality control frameworks, and foster innovation in methods and approaches. Stakeholder Management: Build strategic partnerships with key vendors, engage with senior internal stakeholders, develop relationships with key external partners, lead strategic communications, and shape program standards and direction. Financial Leadership: Direct program budgets across multiple projects, lead portfolio-level planning and forecasting, drive high-level vendor negotiations, develop risk management strategies, and lead cost optimization initiatives.
