Texas Oncology is seeking a full-time

Certified Medical Physicist (Ph.D. or M.S.)

to join a group of five radiation oncology centers located in the North Dallas Region. This position is housed at the Texas Oncology clinic in

Flower Mound, Texas . Texas Oncology is the largest community oncology provider in the country, with approximately 600+ providers in 220+ sites across Texas and southeastern Oklahoma. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, high-touch, evidence-based cancer care to help patients achieve “More breakthroughs. More victories.” Responsibilities

Full range of on-site clinical medical physics support to include HDR, SRS, SBRT. Support and participate in physics support for the North Dallas Region. Occasionally, travel to sites within the region for on-site physics support. Determine the need for, specify, and access dosimetric and treatment planning equipment including measurement instruments to calibrate all treatment equipment and monitoring devices, computerized treatment planning systems, water phantom systems with appropriate ionization chambers and diodes, etc. Advise and consult with physicians to provide direction to technical staff when patients are being planned or treated. Qualifications

Master’s degree or PhD in Physics or Medical Physics from an accredited college or university. Must be ABR certified, or have completed a CAMPEP-approved residency and be board eligible, with working experience in a clinical environment. Texas Medical Board license required or must be obtained. Benefits
