LAND SURVEYOR I - HIGHWAYS (ISLAND OF MAUI)

Provides land survey support for highway construction projects and highway special maintenance projects. Serves as instrumentman on a variety of kind of surveys such as preliminary, topographic, construction or boundary surveys, using a transit, level, theodolite, and/or other survey instruments; reduces and plots field notes and performs related computations; may serve as chief-of-party on routine surveys; compiles data pertaining to surveys from maps, deeds, land titles, metes and bounds descriptions or other sources; and performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualification Requirements: To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements: Legal Authorization To Work:

The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States. Basic Education Requirement:

A bachelor's degree from an regionally accredited four (4) year college or university with a major in land surveying, geo-science, or engineering. Driver's License Requirement:
