LAND SURVEYOR I - HIGHWAYS (ISLAND OF OAHU)

The State of Hawaii is seeking a Land Surveyor I to provide land survey support for highway construction projects and highway special maintenance projects.
Duties include serving as instrumentman on various surveys, reducing and plotting field notes, performing computations, and compiling data from maps and other sources.
Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement: A bachelor's degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a major in land surveying, geo-science, or engineering. Driver's License Requirement: A valid license to drive in the State of Hawaii is required at the time of appointment. Lifting Requirement: Most positions require the ability to lift and carry items of up to 50 lbs. unassisted and 125 lbs. assisted.
