Honeywell's Runway Overrun Awareness and Alerting System (ROAAS)

is an advanced safety solution designed to enhance landing performance and operational safety for aircraft during the landing phase. The ROAAS provides critical real-time alerts to flight crews, focusing on the risk of runway overruns-situations that can occur when an aircraft does not stop before the runway's end. The system utilizes sophisticated algorithms and integrates data from multiple aircraft systems, including landing gear performance and runway conditions, to evaluate landing dynamics. By assessing real-time factors such as aircraft speed, runway length, and environmental conditions, ROAAS delivers timely warnings and advisory information to pilots, prompting necessary actions to prevent overruns.
