Overview

Honeywell CN&S Avionics is seeking a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer to join the Communications, Navigation, & Surveillance (CN&S) group. The role focuses on the design, implementation, and management of sophisticated Avionics systems and solutions, impacting the development of avionics technology for Aircraft Data Communications and Flight Management Systems (FMS). The Honeywell Datalink Avionics Communications solutions enable real-time data exchange between aircraft cockpits, ground systems and networks, enhancing flight operations and situational awareness. Responsibilities

Design, develop and implement advanced Avionics Datalink Communications and FMS products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Systems, Software, Hardware, Test) to understand customer requirements and provide innovative solutions. Author high-level system requirements in DOORS. Conduct system-level analysis and optimization. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems. Decompose high-level system requirements into low-level software requirements. Systems integration, validation, and verification. Model-based systems design and development. Stay updated with latest industry trends and technologies. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline (sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics). 6+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, ideally in the avionics, aerospace or related disciplines. Proficiency in systems lifecycle methodologies, requirements management, and adherence to industry standards (WE VALUE). Proficiency in system-level analysis and optimization and experience with system integration. Knowledge of FAA/EASA regulations and certification processes. Strong leadership and communication skills; passion for innovation and continuous learning. Benefits
