Description We are currently seeking MD (Medical Doctor) and DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Radiologists. In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients through medical imaging. Your expertise will be vital in providing accurate and timely interpretations of various radiological studies, contributing to the overall healthcare delivery system. As a Radiologist, you will be involved in a wide range of projects, from conducting diagnostic procedures to consulting with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Interpret and analyze diagnostic imaging studies such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammograms.

Communicate findings effectively with referring physicians to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.

Ensure the quality and accuracy of radiological reports while adhering to established protocols and guidelines.

Perform image-guided procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, and drainages when necessary.

Stay updated on the latest advancements and technologies in the field of radiology.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.

Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all aspects of work.

Requirements

Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.

Board certification or eligibility in Radiology.

Valid state medical license and DEA registration.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in using radiology information systems and PACS.

Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

About the Opening

Busy Level I Trauma Center

Schedule: 12p-8a, 1 week on/ 3 weeks off

No call shifts required

Setting: On-site preferred, hybrid will be considered

Case Types: Primarily CT, some US and x-ray, very little MR

Full subspecialty support, residents

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
