Assistant Director
to join our leadership team! If you're a dedicated early childhood education professional with experience as a Lead Teacher and a heart for helping children thrive, we’d love to meet you. Position Details
Title: Assistant Director Location: Oakland, TN Schedule: Monday – Friday (variable shifts based on center needs) Compensation: $17 – $18 per hour (based on education and experience) Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required CDA or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Previous experience working in a licensed childcare facility as a Lead Teacher Managerial or supervisory experience in a childcare setting strongly preferred Strong knowledge of state licensing regulations and early childhood best practices Key Responsibilities
Support the Center Director in daily operations and center management Assist in developing and implementing programs that support child growth and staff development Conduct enrollment activities, including family tours and marketing efforts Ensure state and company licensing compliance through regular checks Guide teaching staff in curriculum development and classroom organization Foster strong, professional relationships with families and staff Physically able to engage with children, including lifting (up to 40 lbs), walking, sitting, running, and using stairs What We Offer
