Oversee resident care to promote the highest level of physical, mental and psychosocial functioning possible on the assigned unit. Actively participate in the Quarterly Assurance process, including attending the Quality Assurance meetings and submission of required reports. Make daily rounds on the assigned unit to ensure resident care needs and environmental standards are met. Participate in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures based on identified needs for the assigned unit. Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing and Administrator. Qualifications
Prior experience managing staff is preferred. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Computer literacy. Previous long-term care experience is required. License
Must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) License. Benefits and Culture
