Michigan State University The Department of Medicine at Michigan State University, Division of Hematology and Oncology, is seeking an MD/DO for a clinical position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor level in the Health Programs (HP) faculty track. This is a clinical faculty position with responsibilities that include direct patient care and active engagement in the education of medical students, residents, and hematology/oncology fellows. In addition to clinical and teaching duties, the successful candidate is expected to participate in translational/clinical trials and collaborate with other medical oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, and basic scientists. Michigan State University has an expanding community-based medical school and a growing hematology/oncology clinical and translational research division. As a founding member of the NSABP and a member of SWOG, our active clinical trials program includes cooperative group, industry-supported, and investigator-initiated trials. Minimum Requirements Must possess a Michigan Medical license, Board of Pharmacy and DEA licenses. Physicians must be Board certified in Hematology and or Oncology. Board eligible candidates are expected to obtain board certification in Hematology and/or Oncology within one year of the hire date. Required Degree: Doctorate - M.D. or D.O.
