Position Summary
Assistant / Associate Professor of Health Programs This is a board-eligible/board-certified position involving inpatient and outpatient surgical patient care. The Michigan State University Division of Urology seeks a qualified candidate for a full-time, faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the urologic surgery division. The role offers a broad range of opportunities for clinical practice, teaching, and research. The position emphasizes clinical care in inpatient and outpatient surgical settings, with active involvement in educating urology residents within an ACGME-accredited residency program and medical students at Michigan State University. Faculty provide clinical care and procedures at MSU's newly renovated office space. Inpatient care and surgeries are conducted at McLaren Greater Lansing and Sparrow Hospital, both equipped with advanced urologic instrumentation, including DaVinci robots with teaching consoles to support resident education. These hospitals support high-volume urology cases. The MSU Division of Urology collaborates with colleges of Osteopathic Medicine, Human Medicine, Nursing, and Veterinary Medicine to deliver high-quality care, research, and education.
