IGN is looking for a National Sales Manager to support our Consumer sales vertical in the East region, to support our team based in New York City. We seek an energetic seller who is motivated, a self-starter, and ready to hit the ground running to make an immediate impact. As the National Sales Manager, you’ll prospect new advertisers while growing relationships with current advertisers. The role will require collaboration with the team’s Account Executive and Sales Coordinator to ensure campaigns are properly set up, delivered, and exceeding campaign goals. Job Responsibilities
Exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets based on your account list. Be strategic in identifying opportunities to bring in new brand partners while expanding services for current advertisers to achieve marketing objectives and drive revenue. Collaborate with a high-functioning Account Executive and a Sales Coordinator to prioritize advertiser needs and deliver best-in-class marketing campaigns. Collaborate cross-functionally with Ad Operations, Creative Services, Social, and Content teams. Develop comprehensive proposals or campaign pitches using IGN’s 360 media solutions (targeted media, custom content, influencer marketing, experiential). Create and present sales collateral with strong positioning to showcase IGN media solutions as best in class. Engage with clients and agencies in a consultative manner, representing IGN with integrity and knowledge to create effective campaigns. Grow and strengthen relationships with key contacts at both agency and direct client levels. Learn and sell cross-platform solutions including IGN Display (Desktop/Mobile), Video, Events, Branded Content, Social, Programmatic, and Data solutions. Learn new systems and platforms quickly to stay aligned with the evolving digital media landscape. Track and manage revenue pipeline. Demonstrate strong presentation and written/oral communication skills. Job Requirements
Experience as the primary sales representative for a designated territory. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Think creatively, sell strategically, and demonstrate strong communication skills. Positive, problem-solving attitude; team player with a sense of fun. Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. Strong desire to win and to continually develop professional skills. Ability to juggle multiple account challenges and projects simultaneously. Clear and effective communication. Role Structure
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. Occasional outside-hours work for client needs and events, and campaign reporting. Travel Requirements: Domestic and international travel for client meetings, entertainment, team meetings, and industry events. Physical Requirements: Office and computer-based activities; occasional travel that may involve lifting and carrying materials. Reasonable accommodations available.
