Area Sales Manager

individual contributor role

responsible for generating new business and achieving annual goals. This role offers a unique opportunity to launch disruptive technology and develop professionally within a rapidly growing organization. You will partner with key physicians in your area to launch the VivAer and RhinAer products, working closely with the Regional Sales Director and R/D teams to provide critical feedback supporting growth initiatives. This role is vital to the success and growth of Aerin Medical. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain relationships with physicians and staff at assigned clinical sites by providing excellent service and ongoing education about the use of our products. Collaborate with office and hospital leadership to launch new technology within their facilities. Present the value proposition and introduce disruptive technology in the ENT space. Possess and share superior clinical knowledge of our products, their applications, instructions for use, and procedural techniques. Lead physician training sessions with targeted Aerin physicians. Identify and expand new opportunities to utilize Aerin products for physician planning and treatment. Support physicians ethically and consultatively to encourage product use and commitment. Coordinate logistical and inventory support between clinical sites and Aerin Medical. Assist with Operating Room and office procedures as needed. REQUIREMENTS: Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred. Experience:

5+ years in medical device sales required; ENT/Plastics experience is a plus. A proven track record of success and over-achievement (e.g., Rep of the Year, Presidents Club). Experience in physician office sales, disruptive technology, or start-ups is advantageous. Medical background or military experience will also be considered. Other Qualifications: Strong sales skills with a history of over-achievement. Ability to launch disruptive technology in new markets. Proven leadership and effective communication skills, including presenting to executive teams. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. Willingness to travel extensively (50% or more). Ability to participate in meetings, training, and conferences. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide feedback to leadership and R&D teams.
