We’re designing the ultimate robotic hand — a general-purpose, unlimited-DOF platform built for physical AI control. You’ll work closely with the CEO and a tight-knit team of ambitious builders who move fast, think big, and care deeply about what they’re creating.
Responsibilities
Fast iteration and rapid prototyping of a robotic hand Design, prototype, and validate electromechanical systems for dexterous robotic hands Integrate electronics, sensors, and cabling into compact packages Optimize assemblies for weight, reliability, manufacturability, and cost efficiency Perform structural FEA simulations to validate robust designs Produce high-quality CAD models, drawings, and specifications for manufacturing partners Author design documentation including requirements, specifications, and test plans Requirements
3+ years of experience Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering Proficiency with rapid prototyping methods (laser cutting, 3D printing) Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred) Experience performing structural FEA simulations Strong understanding of manufacturing methods for mid- to high-volume production Proven experience taking complex mechanical systems from concept through production Bonus: Experience with DFM for injection molding, sheet metal, elastomer components Bonus: Background in robotics system design, kinematics, and/or dynamics Compensation
