PacBio THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION Contractor - Research Associate – Protein Production Estimated Project Duration: 6 months Pay Rate: $33.36/hour to $50.00/hour Responsibilities Execute reagent manufacturing tasks and process protein production orders in a timely manner. Maintain records and production environment in compliance with quality standards. Assist in inventory management and ordering materials. Maintain, qualify, and validate equipment as appropriate. Conduct troubleshooting on issues which arise during routine production. Perform quality control tests. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure on-time completion of production builds. Assist the development and technology transfer of manufacturing processes and documentation. Contribute to new process development and transfer to production. Required Qualifications A minimum BSc degree in Biochemistry, Protein Chemistry, Molecular Biology or related scientific discipline. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Life Sciences industry. Experience in working with liquid chromatography for recombinant protein from bacterial expression system. Experience in analytical methodologies for protein characterization including HPLC, enzyme kinetics, protein quantification, spectrophotometer, SDS-PAGE. Experience with automated chromatography stations such as AKTA systems. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Preferred Experience Experience in PLM and ERP systems. Knowledge of Next-Generation Sequencing is a plus. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. This role is 100% onsite.
