Sr. Project Engineer (CEI) in Central Florida, FL - Construction, Engineering, and Inspection (CEI) A licensed engineer responsible for managing large complex projects and/or a portfolio of transportation projects. Directly responsible for Construction, Engineering, and Inspection services on their project(s), upholding associated contract documents, ensuring team continuity, and managing client expectations. Responsibilities:

Serve as the Owner’s representative on the project, representing their interest with emphasis on issues involving public safety, quality, and timely completion. Exercise independent professional judgment in performing obligations and duties. Develop solutions to project issues in an expedient and proactive manner. Review project teams’ performance with a focus on quality and promoting the ETM brand. Provide professional communication to the client regarding significant activities, decisions, and reports. Perform CPM schedule reviews and identify incorrect logic. Responsible charge of all Change Orders, Work Orders, and monthly/final payments issued to the construction contractor. Complete technical knowledge of contract plans, specifications, and engineering documents to determine compliance. ETM Responsibilities:

Model and promote the ETM way, conform to standard operating procedures, and manage assigned projects. Foster a collaborative culture within each CEI project team. Assist project teams in problem-solving to mitigate potential risks. Provide guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities for team members. Track CEI contracts to optimize project efficiency. Develop team goals and review performance, leading by example. Establish quality control measures to ensure teams meet industry standards and client expectations. Manage and win future work to maintain/grow the team. Identify key hires and build strong relationships with decision-makers. Seek technology integration opportunities to enhance land development processes. Key Metrics:

Professional Engineer (PE) registered in Florida or ability to obtain within six months. BS in Civil Engineering Six years of engineering experience, including two years in transportation projects. Certifications:

FDOT Advanced MOT CTQP Quality Control Manager CTQP Level II (Asphalt/Earthwork/Concrete) ICS 100, 200, 700 FDOT General Courses (5) TC3 courses (3) Physical Demands:

Regularly required to talk, listen, stand, and walk. Frequently required to use hands, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required, including close, distance, color, and depth perception.
