Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of electrical systems for various building projects including commercial, healthcare, educational, and industrial facilities.
Perform electrical load calculations, power distribution design, lighting layout, and low-voltage systems integration.
Review and coordinate electrical designs with other disciplines to ensure cohesive, code-compliant project delivery.
Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, support construction administration, and resolve field issues.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare technical specifications, perform quality control reviews, and ensure deliverables meet project requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
Licensed (PE) Electrical Engineer.
10+ years of experience in electrical design.
Knowledge of power, lighting, and low voltage systems for commercial buildings.
Experience coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers, and contractors.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, code-compliant design solutions.
