Plumbing Superintendent

Position Summary:

We’re seeking a seasoned Plumbing Superintendent to lead our large‐scale commercial and multifamily new-construction projects across North and South Florida. You’ll oversee day-to-day field operations, mentor crews, and ensure every installation meets design specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily plumbing operations, ensuring compliance with project specs and OSHA standards (OSHA 30 preferred)

Lead, train, and mentor plumbing crews, foremen, and subcontractors to maintain productivity, quality, and safety

Review blueprints, engineering packages, and shop drawings for constructability—maintain up-to-date drawing files

Develop material takeoffs, prepare requisitions, and manage on-site inventories

Conduct toolbox talks, enforce site-specific safety protocols, and proactively identify hazards

Submit daily field reports, document punch-list items, and drive project close-out and turnover

Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and design teams to resolve issues and keep schedules on track

Support change-order management, cost control, and post-award “buy-out” lists

Requirements

5+ years

as a Plumbing Superintendent on large commercial or multifamily new-construction projects

Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing codes

Strong leadership skills—experience managing multi-discipline crews in fast-paced environments

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and field-service/document-control software

Valid driver’s license; able to commute or relocate to project regions

Preferred:

Trade apprenticeship completion, OSHA 30, and active plumbing license
