Rivet Operations Company ("Rivet") is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to support the Military Sealift Command (MSC) in San Diego, California. Rivet is a leading partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) in security, IT, logistics, and more. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform facilities preventative maintenance, repairs, renovations, removals, and disposals. Manage tools, inventory, and job tracking/reporting, requiring access to government networks. Conduct building and facility inspections. Provide maintenance and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, electrical, and machinery. Handle general repairs such as window coverings, hardware, wall repair, and painting. Prepare facilities for inclement weather and perform tie-downs. Maintain and relocate furniture and building appliances. Manage vegetation control and removal. Perform minor maintenance tasks including roofing, welding, and carpentry. Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, self-motivated, team player. Valid Driver's License; driving record check required. Associate's degree or 8 years of experience in building maintenance. Experience in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC maintenance preferred. Must be a U.S. citizen with an active security clearance or eligible for one. Benefits:
